Prometheus Advanced Manufacturing at GCC Strengthens Workforce Readiness in the Pacific
The Prometheus Center of Excellence and Guam Community College have formalized a strategic partnership establishing Prometheus Advanced Manufacturing at GCC, enhancing the Pacific region’s capacity to train a highly skilled, defense-ready manufacturing workforce.
The collaboration supports Department of Defense priorities by delivering industry-aligned training in automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, and advanced materials—disciplines critical to sustainment, logistics, and emerging defense technologies.
By integrating education, industry, and applied research, this initiative strengthens supply-chain resilience, local production capacity, and operational readiness across the Indo-Pacific.
Guam’s strategic location positions GCC and Prometheus COE as a force multiplier for national security workforce development.

What Happened:
Prometheus Leadership Team met with United States Congress Representative James Moylan and his Senior Defense Advisors earlier this year and presented Vision Prometheus @ Guam.
In late 2025, Prometheus CEO Sosena Desta along with Director of Development Thomas Baba and Ari Candelier of Green Point XR met with Chairman Carlo Leon Guerrero and Dr. Mary Okada from Guam Community College to discuss our shared visions for Guam.
Guam Community College and the Prometheus Center of Excellence signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing Prometheus Advanced Manufacturing at GCC 12.10.2025.
